The 576 is a Curve Tracer from Tektronix. A curve tracer, or curve checker, is a type of electronic test equipment engineers use to analyze semiconductor device characteristics. Curve tracers contain current and voltage sources to stimulate the equipment under test (EUT). A curve tracer applies a swept voltage to two terminals of the EUT, measuring the level of current flowing at each voltage.
Additional Features:
- Voltage step ranges are up to 1500 V and current step ranges are up to 20 A peak pulse.
- Switchable polarity and display magnification for more accurate resolution.
- The Tek 576 has a a collector supply of up to 220 W peak, adjustable current limiting is provided in the step generator.
A display area readout of test results and setup parameters decreases the chances of operator error. The Tektronix 576 accepts three different test fixtures for your testing needs.
The Tektronix 576 Curve-Tracer System continues to hold the title "standard of the industry." This general-purpose curve-tracer system performs well in applications where high-current testing is required.
With the Standard Test Fixture, the collector supply of this curve tracer delivers up to 220 W peak to the device under test. The step generator can deliver up to 2 A in both its current and voltage modes of operation. With the 176 High-Current Test Fixture, the 576 is capable of pulsed-collector operation up to 200-A peak.
